TCS SYDNEY MARATHON

The TCS Sydney Marathon - announced as the newest member of the Abbott World Marathon Majors in November 2024 - is a World Athletics Platinum Label marathon, and is the sole remaining participant legacy of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The event is owned by Australian Athletics and managed by Pont3.

The Classics, created in 2016 by Yaffa Media and Australia’s leading cycling media brand Bicycling Australia, are a collection of cycling Gran Fondo events across Australia.

CANBERRA MARATHON

​The Canberra Times Marathon Festival is an annual running event held in Canberra, Australia, offering participants a range of race distances, including the marathon (42.2 km), half marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, 5.4 km, and a 2.3 km kids run. The 2025 festival is scheduled for April 13, 2025, with the event village located at John Dunmore Lang Place, ACT.

 

Leadville race series

INTERNATIONAL: LEADVILLE RACE SERIES

The Leadville Trail 100 started with just 45 runners in 1983. The Leadville Race Series now stretches across three months and hosts thousands of racers on foot and on the bike. Endurance athletes worldwide now make the pilgrimage to Leadville, Colorado, with the single goal of competing in a “Race Across the Sky.”

NICA

INTERNATIONAL: NATIONAL INTERSCHOLASTIC CYCLING ASSOCIATION

Founded in 2009, the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) develops high school mountain biking programs for student-athletes across the United States. NICA provides leadership, services and governance for local leagues to produce quality mountain bike events, and supports every student-athlete in the development of strong body, strong mind and strong character through their efforts on the bike.

 

The conservation alliance

INTERNATIONAL: THE CONSERVATION ALLIANCE

The Conservation Alliance is a group of outdoor industry companies that disburses its collective annual membership dues to grassroots environmental organizations. We direct our funding to community-based campaigns to protect threatened wild habitat, preferably where outdoor enthusiasts recreate. The Alliance was founded in 1989 by industry leaders REI, Patagonia, The North Face, and Kelty, who shared the goal of increasing outdoor industry support for conservation efforts. We now have more than 190 member companies, and plan to disburse $1.65 million in 2015.
